When can I buy NBA tickets?
NBA tickets will be available for purchase on Ticketmaster when the league announces the schedule for the 2024–25 season. You can browse a wide selection of NBA tickets at Ticketmaster, the Official Ticketing Partner of the NBA. If tickets for a game are sold out, additional seats may become available closer to the game, so keep checking back.

If I can’t make the game, can I sell my tickets on Ticketmaster?
If your plans change and you can’t make the game, you can sell your tickets on Ticketmaster directly from your account*. When you visit your account, if you see a Sell option next to your tickets, you’ll be able to sell your tickets safely and securely through Ticketmaster. Just click the Sell button to set your price and list your tickets. After your tickets sell and we have all the necessary information, we’ll deposit your payout typically within 5-7 business days. NBA Tickets 2024–25
After the NBA Preseason kicks off in early October, the NBA regular season will tip off in late October 2024. There will be a break for All-Star Weekend, leading up to the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California. Once the season resumes, it will be a race to the finish — culminating in the NBA Play-In Tournament and NBA Playoffs, which are scheduled to begin in April 2025. Be sure to add your team to your favorites on Ticketmaster.com or in the Ticketmaster app to be the first to know when tickets are available.
NBA Playoffs
The NBA Playoffs will be preceded by the Play-In Tournament, where the 7th through 10th ranked teams in both conferences compete for their spot in the playoffs. The NBA Playoffs will then take place starting in April 2025 and running until the NBA Finals begin in June 2025. They’ll feature the top eight teams from each conference competing in a best-of-seven series as they look to advance to the following rounds.
NBA Finals
The NBA Playoffs reach their apex each year with the NBA Finals #x2014; a winner-takes-all, best-of-seven series between the top teams from the Western and Eastern Conferences. In the 2024 NBA Finals, the Boston Celtics beat the Dallas Mavericks in a hard-fought five-game series to capture the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy and a historic eighteenth championship.
