But bundled-up tourists in Orlando Monday said it a lot better than the snow and ice up North, although the 40-degree weather had scrapped plans for the beach and a suntan. Shivering natives and armies of tourists jamming the area have been hit by below-normal temperatures -for five straight days: thermometers dipped to 45 degrees on Christmas, 38 on Friday, 45 on Saturday, 37 on Sunday and 43 on Monday. None set a record for cold, but blustery winds and occasional drizzles piled on additional discomfort. Forecasters said Central Florida can expect continued brisk and chilly winds from the northwest today, with temperatures ranging from about 45 to near 55..
